David Bitton



Mr. David Bitton graduated from Geneva University in 1993 and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1995.

He completed his traineeship in a law firm founded by a former investigating judge with whom he gained experience in criminal defence.

In 1995, David Bitton became associate of Michel Halpérin, a leading personality and former Chair of the Geneva Bar Association.

In 2001, he became partner at Ming Halpérin Burger Inaudi and was mainly responsible for criminal and civil proceedings.

David Bitton also worked with Enrico Monfrini on international white-collar crime cases, which led him to join the Firm in January 2015.

Practice areas

David Bitton practies in all areas of business crime law. In recent years, he focused on business crime law for individuals and companies: criminal mismanagement, bankruptcy and misappropriation, criminal organization, money laundering and unfair competition; offences against honour (defamation and wilful defamation) and computer crime.

Highly interest in the increase and evolution of international judicial cooperaton, David Bitton practices in mutual assistance in criminal and tax matters.

David Bitton practices before cantonal and federal jurisdictions in Switzerland, as well as some jurisdictions in European countries.

David Bitton also has a substantial practice in commercial disputes (corporate and banking law) and matrimonial law (complex divorce proceedings; international matrimonial regime liquidation; assets search; negotiation and drafting of divorce agreements).
